This year we wanted to offer something a little different from our courses and workshop so have developed some pottery holidays.
Allowing people to really immerse themselves in pottery for a prolonged time results in improvements to their skills, efficiency and speed.
Chris has been working in the ceramics industry for 22 years. With experience ranging from commercial potteries, making and exhibiting his own works across galleries and teaching. Chris has a wealth of knowledge for you to draw from.

Your space to get creative and meet fellow makers.
The studio is always buzzing on a Monday and Tuesday. with our open studio members. This is the perfect next step for those who have been to our courses and want to get some practice in, and for existing potters in our community looking for studio space. We love the community we are building here at Clay works Studio in Dumfries. Having the space to hold pottery course and workshops is great and seeing our students explore on their own and grow as potters is a joy we want to encourage and expand on.
