£270
22nd April - 13th May *(1 Week BREAK) 27th May - 17th June, 6 - 8:30pm
This beginner’s Wheel Throwing course offers you the chance to practice and develop the skills needed to throw pots on the potter's wheel. You will be taken through the process of throwing a range of shapes and encouraged to hone skills and refine forms. People are always impressed by what they are able to make.
There is a focus on learning the basic shapes, bowls, cylinders (mugs & jugs) and flatware. You will also learn the skill of 'turning' your pots - where you trim and refine the forms at ‘leather hard’ stage.
If you have already completed a Beginners Course, repeating the course can be a good way to embed the skills and gain more practise which will help you advance.
If you have any questions - just get in touch.
