Materials costs

Weekly Courses (General Pottery and Throwing):

- Finished work is charged at £2 per pound.

- Payment is due upon collection, and we accept both card and cash.

- There are no additional material charges for one-off workshops.

Intensive Course:

- The course fee includes all materials and equipment.

- You will create 4 glazed and fired pieces, which we will handle.

- Choose from 4 different glaze options.

- Any additional pieces you wish to keep will incur a charge of £5 each.

Membership

  • Pay As You Go:

    For those participants who use the studio as a drop in facility, the cost of use is £9.00 per hour. If you wish to use the studio in this way there will be no minimum hourly charge; i.e you pay for the hours you're with us only, this can be as little as 1 hour - with no membership commitment.

    If you wish to do this it works on a first come first served basis so please get in touch and let us know when you want to come so we can make sure there is space for you.

  • Quarterly Membership:

    For those participants who wish to use the studio on a regular basis you can opt for Studio Open Access Membership. For this there is a minimum commitment of 10 hours per month for 3 months consecutively. The monthly fee is £50 for 10 hours so for 3 months the cost is £150. In the event that you spend more than 10 hours in the studio in a single month, any additional hours will be totted up and charged at the same rate (£5.00 per hour).

PLEASE NOTE:

We ask that you pay your membership monthly by standing order at the beginning of each month using your name as a reference.

If you wish to cancel your membership we require 1 month advance notice prior to cancellation.

Attendance

If you are not able to attend a session, we cannot allow you to come along to another scheduled session. Sorry, we are not able to refund sessions which are missed.

Deposits

To keep things simple we ask that you pay the full amount (inc of deposit) or a deposit to secure your place on our courses.

All deposits are non-refundable, so please make certain that you can attend the course before you sign up.

Cancellation

Please make certain that you can attend the course before you sign up. If something comes up then please Contact Us as soon as possible.

Refunds

If you paid in full you will be refunded (except any deposit) as long as the cancellation is made no later than 14 days before the course or workshop. Sorry, we are unable to give refunds for cancellations made less than 14 days before the course or workshop.
