Our General Pottery course is suitable for all levels of ability. The course provides an opportunity to learn and practice various Ceramic techniques. You may be a complete beginner wishing to give it a go, or you may have previous experience of working with clay. Either way you will receive technical support at every stage to enable you to explore and develop your ideas and try out new techniques.

Each session will consist of demonstrations and explanations of techniques, taking you through making using processes such as throwing, coil building, slab building, making with moulds, decorative techniques, and glazing.

There will also be the chance to have a go on the wheel, but please note, this is not a throwing course.

This course is a great way to get a feel for the broad range of processes which are possible with clay. Throughout the course you will have continuous tutoring and technical support and get access to specialised ceramics tools and equipment.
